I'm Leilani, the camera-shy, crystal-loving introvert behind Our Crystal Corner.

Putting my face on the internet? A rare occurrence.

Sharing beautiful crystals with people who love them? Now that I can do all day long.

Still, I believe you deserve to know a little about the person behind the shop, so here goes!

I was born and raised on Maui, Hawaiʻi, and moved to the East Coast in 2019 with my husband and our beloved Australian Cattle Dog, Dozer. He crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024, and I miss him every day. I'll always cherish the memories we made together.

Shortly after, we adopted another Australian Cattle Dog, Boogs. His name started as Boogie, somehow became Booger, and eventually turned into Boogs. And Boogs it is. 🤣

Life around here is a little quirky, and honestly, so am I.

💙 How My Crystal Obsession Began

Honestly, I wasn't always a crystal person.

My first crystal was an Amethyst cluster gifted to me in 2015. I thought it was beautiful, but beyond that?

Nothing.

No energy. No magical moment. Just a pretty purple rock collecting dust on my desk.

Then, in 2020, my cousin reintroduced me to the crystal world.

And suddenly, I was hooked.

I started collecting, researching, learning about different minerals, and staying up way too late discovering everything I could.

But here's something you might not expect from a crystal shop owner:

I don't connect with every crystal on an energetic level. In fact, it's pretty rare for me, if I'm being honest.

Sometimes I feel drawn to a particular piece. Sometimes I simply love its colors, patterns, or sparkle.

And I think both are wonderful reasons to appreciate crystals.

You don't need to believe in metaphysical properties to belong here. You don't need an impressive collection, either.

If you love crystals because they're meaningful, fascinating, beautiful, or just plain shiny, you're my kind of people.

🔹 Why Our Crystal Corner Exists

Before opening my shop, I spent a lot of time exploring the crystal community.

I loved the crystals, but I didn't always love the shopping experience.

Sometimes I felt overlooked, especially during live sales. I wished there were more spaces where asking questions, browsing without buying, or having a smaller budget felt completely normal and was welcomed.

Eventually, I realized something:

Why not create the kind of crystal shop I'd want to shop at?

With encouragement from my husband and cousin, Our Crystal Corner began taking shape.

My goal was never simply to sell crystals.

I wanted to create a welcoming place where people could explore, learn, connect, and shop without pressure.

That philosophy also shapes the crystals I source.

You'll find beautiful statement pieces, affordable little treasures, unusual colors, and imperfect crystals with plenty of personality.

Because a crystal doesn't have to be flawless to be someone's favorite.

What one person passes over might be exactly what another person has been searching for.

And helping those pieces find their people? That's one of my favorite parts of doing this.

Come as you are. Whether you're a longtime collector, completely new to crystals, or just curious, you're always welcome.
